AllyCAD, by Knowledge Base is a full-featured, CAD (Computer Assisted Drawing) program for the PC. Everyone knows that I'm "graphically challenged", but even I found the program to be intuitive. In testing it out it was easy-to-use, perfect for both new and experienced users. AlleyCAD can be used for all kinds of technical drawings in various areas like mechanical, architectural, electrical, and so on. I was impressed by the fact that the program offers toolkits that are specialized for certain disciplines. For example, there's a toolkit for surveys, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, architectural, and more. The toolkits make it easy to do common operations. Slick. I really like the fact that the program is highly customizable. You can personalize menus, toolbars, and more, to be exactly how you want them to be. With AlleyCAD you can work with multiple drawings at one time and can even cut and paste between them. That's great for when you have multiple projects going at once. Speaking of multiple projects, AlleyCAD is also fully compatible with other drawing programs like AutoCAD, Caddie, and Arcview. It can also deal with a range of graphics file formats including TIFF, JPG, and BMP. So, if you need a professional CAD program for your work, <this may be exactly what you've been looking for. OroTimesheet, by OroLogic Inc. is a powerful program for managing time, projects, employees, and more. The interface is really intuitive. In testing it out I also found it to be easy-to-use, perfect for users with all levels of experience. I can see where the program could have a wide range of uses in a variety of settings. I like the way it lets you monitor things like employees, costs, your budget, and more. That gives you the ability to track what a project is costing, whether it's on track or not, whether it's under budget or not. Slick. OroTimesheet also has some nice extras not found in some similar products. Among these are a complete billing module that makes billing a snap. There's also a really handy "time clock" to track employee time. In addition, you have options to both import and export data in a variety of formats. OroTimesheet has some excellent features and really provides a good, solid overview of a project. You can see at a glance how each project is doing as far as time, resources, budget, and lots more. It has a nice layout that make it not only easy-to-use, but also quite easy to understand. So, if you deal in projects you just might want to take a good, long look at OroTimesheet. It could be just the program for keeping you on track. Check it out.

LogMeIn, by LogMeIn, Inc. is a cool system for accessing your PC from anywhere and getting work done. With LogMeIn Pro you can access your computer and use all your software, hear sounds, use the clipboard, and lots more. It's just about like being in front of your computer, only you aren't. The program is intuitive and easy-to-use, perfect for both new and experienced users. LogMeIn Pro lets you print, drag and drop files, synchronize drives, and share files. What I like about it is that it gives you full control over your remote machine so you can actually accomplish something. I've even used it to demo software for family and friends who were having difficulty using software. I just had them log into my PC and then I could demonstrate the software for them. Slick. There's also a free version called LogMeIn Free and for some users that might be enough. So, if you'd like to be able to access you PC's from remote locations, LogMeIn Pro may be just the thing you've been looking for. Give it a try, I recommend it.

ABIX, by Loginor is a full-featured information management program that makes it easy to keep track of all your data. From within ABIX you can take care of your personal address book, your passwords, your personal agenda, notes, and much more. In testing it out I found the interface to be quite intuitive and it was easy-to-use. To me that makes it perfect for users with all levels of experience. I like that fact that ABIX gives you the ability to manage multiple things from one, central interface. In addition to the things I've already mentioned, ABIX can also deal with tasks, inventory, loans, and more. This is really one of those programs that you have to try out for yourself in order to truly appreciate it. So, if you've been looking for software that will help you stay organized, on time, and up-to-date, ABIX may be just the product you've been looking for. Check it out and see what you think.
