haXmanager comes with listing of options for hacking the appearance of OS X.

You can give the terminal window some transparency features, let invisible folders be seen again, have background applications visible in the Dock and so much more.
After you click on the hack that you would like to complete, you must type 1 or 0 before clicking "Apply." This allows the hack to be completed.
haXmanager comes in very handy. I like being able to view my invisible folders!
