Effective File Search 6.8
From time to time any user needs to search for some essential files.

Effective File Search is a real replacement for the build-in Windows Search utility. Effective File Search automates routine operations, speeds up the searching process and lifts it up to a new level. It provides a more flexible and faster search than usual built-in Windows Search Utilities. A user just needs to enter the date, size, keyword, and combine these attributes using AND/OR/NOT operators. Effective File Search has an improved support of folder names (e.g. C:DOCUMENTS200?*REPORTS ). It also supports regular expressions for advanced searches.
Effective File Search can look up for any file located on hard-drive, floppy-drive, CD, network, etc. All popular file formats are supported (MS Office files, PDF, RTF, OpenOffice files, HTML and many other text and binary files). Script language is supported too. The program has flexible administration features. Thus, a user can forbid searching in certain folders. In order to perform searches of any complexity with just a few mouse clicks, the utility enables a user to create custom templates.
After the search, a user can perform different actions with the search results: copy, delete, rename, etc. Search results are displayed with file icons and you can use Windows context menu (copy, cut, paste, send to commands are supported). Found files can be sorted by their names, path, size, date and type. Results and parameters can be saved to a file. If a user needs a copy of the search report, it can be easily printed.
Effective File Search has a user friendly graphic interface, plus it's multilingual. English, German, Italian, Chinese, Russian and other languages are supported. It's easy to install and simple to use, so no tutorials, or extra training of corporate users is required. Effective File Search is a handy tool for any PC user, saving lots of time and efforts. It is a shareware and works on Win9x/ME/NT/2000/XP/Vista/7.
