System Mechanic Professional 9

Not a worry with System Mechanic Pro 10.5--not even with Windows 7 or XP Pro. The management of registers and clutter keeps my kennel absolutely spotless. I can't comment on the virus protection: I still use Norton 360, but there are no conflicts that I've seen. Watch for some vendors to be selling out Version 8. The best result is to buy directly from Iolo--and the service is super. By the way, it does cover all laptops, not just 3. I use it on 5 at the moment and 3 of them were running like new, even after one crashed.

There are some oddities in the "System Shield" anti-virus section of this package that can cause you to lose files due to bugs when downloading. (They download then get deleted with NO WARNING)
This has been reported to Iolo, but the company are not interested in fixing these bugs as they are only going to happen to very few files and they don't think anyone will notice. I found one example file which (If you can download it) you can scan and prove that it is safe. (Even with System Shield!)

and you will see the bug - a zip file downloads, then the contents of the file are deleted leaving an EMPTY zip file!

Iolo suggest excluding the downloads folder from the anti-virus scan!
How stupid would that be?

Over the years, I have occasionally purchased PC optimization software suites, but never experienced sufficient benefit from them to convince me either to continue their subscriptions or even keep the packages installed. A couple of serious malware infestations, some glowing third-party reviews, and a timely coupon offer from iolo Technologies led me to try out version 9.5 of System Mechanic Pro. I am completely satisfied with the results.

The bottom line, of course, is performance. System Mechanic Pro has performed flawlessly and productively on all three machines on which I have installed it (two Windows XP systems, and a Windows 7, 64-bit machine). One of the XP installations was particularly sluggish before I unleashed System Mechanic; today it runs like new. The suite works without issue in the Windows 7, 64-bit environment.

Without hesitation or reservation, I recommend System Mechanic Pro.

I am very much an average, computer literate Joe who like to keep his system in good running order. System Mechanic Professional meet my needs most effectively, it does a really good job of tune up. Together with a good independent anti-virus program I do not spend hours fiddling with slow start-ups, constant re-booting or blue screen hang-ups. System mechanic Professional has many useful and practical features and is easy to understand. Iolo offer substantial discounts on yearly renewals, not your average measly 5 or 10 percent but REAL discounts. They are one company that reward customer loyalty in a tangible way.

I'm a bit skeptical of most anything these days, & I don't fill out many of these surveys or reviews. Matter of fact, I believe this is the first one that I can remember.

I, as a Senior citizen, did not grow up with our amazing computers and I have always depended upon others for help in keeping my computer in top shape. I kept seeing ads for numerous programs and after much research about 7 months ago I decided to purchase System Mechanic Pro. That was the best decision I have made. I found SMP very easy and simple to use and the results have been amazing.
Here is all I have to do, once it is installed and analyzes my system:
1. I click the desktop icon
2. I click "View Problems"
3. I click "Repair All"
That's it, so simple I can use it and be confident that my computer problems have been repaired. I like to view the problems about once per week which is enough since I don't use my computer probably as much as some of you do. Check it out for the sake of your computer as I did. After seven months I have found no negatives to tell you about.

I have used System Mechanic Pro for quite some time now. It has been by far the best product as far as security and system maintenance goes, that I have ever used. Since using System Mechanic Pro my system runs flawlessly and is extremely secure. I have used many of the supposed "top name" security and virus software, but none compare to System Mechanic Pro. You don’t even notice the virus and firewall running in the background, which I found was a huge problem with other top name software. I am pretty knowledgeable when it comes to computers and have many of my friends and family asking me to fix or speed up their computer. Every time, I recommend System Mechanic Pro. After downloading and showing them the 30 day trial, they have no issues at all and can’t thank me enough. Some using top name software but are unable to remove viruses or system issues. I cannot recommend System Mechanic Pro enough, to everyone, it is awesome value for money and will not disappoint!

Iolo has been my product of choice for over three years now. It's done everything I've expected it to do and more. It keeps my PC clean and running at it's best. I had one incident one time where I was getting error messages. The support unit worked through the problem with me and it was resolved. No issues since then. This is an excellent product and I highly recommened it.

Finally after many years and thousands of dollars, I have found THE software package that truly deserves my time. A few months ago I discovered System Mechanic Professional, a product made by Iolo Technologies. Honestly, I had never even heard of the product and was leery of even trying it. I was unhappy with my current software having purchased numerous packages provided by various manufacturers to perform various tasks to keep my computer tuned up and in ship shape. I have McAfee, SpeedUpMyPC, Registry Booster, System Tweeker, Registry Mechanic, etc. I have tried the various PC Tools and Norton packages over the years as well but System Mechanic Professional truly brought it all together in one package for me.

I was very pleased with System Mechanic. It does everything they say it will. Actually, I couldn't believe how well it works !!! I am a club DJ and I have to have pc's that are fast and don't freeze. It's only program I have ever used that when I defragment the hard drive it reports that there are no fragmented files almost 80% of the time !!! I've never had that happen before on pc's I use a lot. You will not be disappointed with System Mechanic.

Pros:

Cleans registry, temp files. Basically, It keeps my pc's running as fast as when they were new. Defragments memory. Fast running which is a big plus.

Cons :

So far, I haven't found any... That was the biggest surprise !

I love iolo. I just recently started using the anti-virus and firewall. Previously I had used Mcafee for years. Still even have 3 years of subscription left with them. I was having some real problems with my computer and even with using the rest of system mechanic was still having issues. I decided to go for it and changed 2 things. First of all I went to firefox for my browser and secondly I changed to Iolo for my antivirus. I am so glad I made these 2 changes, the best one was iolo. My computer is running great. Thank you

I have been using system mechanic pro 7 for a year and just renewed my subscription. I just love it. It's so easy to use. It does all the work for me. It gives clear instructions step by step. I highly recommend it!

I have been using System Mechanic Professional for going on 3 years now. I run it on my computer and my sons and between the both of us we have had a few problems with viruses that it cleaned up easily, I also like the control you have over the different functions. I like the quality, ease of use and available tech support if needed. Way to go Iolo, great product!

I really like this product... It is easy to install and use... The tune up, firewall and antivirus features work exceptionally well together and they can be set up to run automatically or manually... It's great to finally have one product with this combination of features...
