CyberDefender Early Detection Center 3.0 helps keep your PC secure, fast and error free.

Now with Dual-Core Anti-malware Technology, EDC 3.0 catches more viruses, spyware, and other threats. EDC 3.0 takes every new file and runs it through two distinct scanning engines. If either engine finds dangerous files or processes, the file is intercepted and removed - or "quarantined" - so that it can't harm the user's PC. EDC 3.0 has received West Coast Labs Checkmark certification.
CyberDefender's Argus Network uses the power of the community through a proprietary, peer-to-peer (P2P), relay network to protect users against Internet threats faster than most competing technologies. In recent tests, the Argus Network 3.0 blocked 10 times the number of phishing attacks against home PCs versus the previous 2.0 version, as well as demonstrating increased malware search capabilities. CyberDefender also enlists the power of multiple, strategic sources for data about phishing threats so that users are protected in "real time" from the newest, active phishing scams. Our Link Patrol browser plug-in protects you against phishing scams and malware downloads. New Custom Settings give you options to customize scheduled scan times, choose what PC areas to include or skip in scans, and more. Also includes monitoring the status of your Windows Firewall and Windows Updates for all-around security.

Downloading this was easier than removing the other program from my computer! (I didn't realize how difficult that would be - taking off the old one.)
Either way, it's gone now and Cyberdefender has got me covered. The initial scan found some things and Cyberdefender removed them, and since then, nothing.
I didn't know an anti-virus program would offer Identity Theft protection, but they did! That's such a great idea. With the Cyberdefender package, I know I'm covered completely.

I've not had it for long, and so far, the scan hasn't found anything, but I already feel better. Something this software offers that the other didn't, is the online backup. After having lost everything, I can see how this would be priceless.
I haven't paid for the upgrade yet, but I figure I will soon.

They've got a great product line that is reliable and effective. I recommend Cyberdefender to anyone who uses a computer. They are a complete package, that covers antivirus, the spyware and even offers ID theft protection!
Well worth the investment.

I used it as a free scanner, but the free version does remove spyware and trojan, but you got to upgrade for virus. Evenually one came along, it caught it, and I bought the upgrade. Ran Cyberdefender after the upgrade, and virus was gone (it got into my rootkit and also got the vundo virus which it took care of.
I also like that the upgrade I got came with the 24/7 computer help, which was very helpful when I went on a trip, and my wife had a printer problem and called them (the 24/7 is not just for malware support, but for any kind of computer issue!!). They helped her out and had a positive experience with the Cyberdefender help line.
So, this is my experience with Cyberdefender - really good software. Granted, different people have different experiences, but this seems to be a good company with a valid product.

I chose Cyberdefender cause it seemed to be a more complete package, covering anti-virus, trojans, spyware, id theft protection.
I was thrilled that Cyberdefender is a NASDAQ public company, so i decided to get it. ANd oh, have i been glad I did. It has blocked some bad things from my system and I feel very safe.
I recommend Cyberdefender to anyone.
