Ardyss has been manufacturing reshaping garments like the Ardyss Body Magic for roughly twenty years now. While they were incorporated in Las Vegas in 1991, it seems they may have in fact been operating in Mexico as a privately held business as far back as 1989. The Body Magic was one of their earliest products and it is still one of their top sellers today.
The Ardyss Body Magic essentially says women can lose 2 dress sizes instantly wearing one. With prolonged use, these changes are supposed to in fact be permanent. I do not really think a garment can actually dissolve fat, but using clothing or apparel to change the human body is a timeless practice.
If neck extension or feet constriction can be permanently caused through the use of the right jewelry or shoes, I see no reason why a garment could not cause a similar permanent effect to other regions of the body as. Essentially if a garment forces your body to do something long enough, it could cause permanent change, and that goes for the Ardyss Body Magic as well.
The Ardyss Body Magic is basically like a corset, except it reshapes a lot more than just the waist and breasts. It covers the thighs, the buttocks, and the abdomen; essentially the entire torso is affected by the Body Magic.
Essentially if you wear it long enough, having it force you into sitting up straight while conditioning your muscles to basically "suck in" to fit into it, you will eventually condition your muscles to maintain this posture on their own, without the garment.
